Project Description

The "42.5 MW Wind Power Project by BPCL in Karnataka" project in Yelisirur Village, Karnataka, harnesses wind energy to generate clean electricity, significantly reducing GHG emissions. The project activity is expected to produce 1,05,733.20 MWh annually. By replacing conventional power generation, it mitigates approximately 85,629 tonnes of CO2 emissions yearly. The project contributes to sustainable development through infrastructure improvements, job creation, enhanced energy security, and environmental benefits, promoting renewable energy as a cleaner, more efficient alternative.
