Project Description

The Biomass power project has a capacity of 14.88 MW and utilizes agricultural sugar cane waste, known as bagasse, to generate clean energy. The project aims to fulfill its own energy needs and export excess energy to the grid. It aligns with several SDGs, addressing both social and environmental aspects. The initiative contributes to reducing greenhouse gas emissions by avoiding the combustion of fossil fuels for biomass-based energy generation, resulting in a yearly decrease of 26,715 tCO2e.
